Welcome, welcome, dear human, on this wonderful day. We are so happy to be with you and we would love to see you just as happy. Happiness is something that is so easy to achieve, but you tend to make things so difficult!
What is happiness?
It’s a state of being in which you feel content, satisfied, lucky, and you feel like smiling, sometimes even singing.
You feel love, you feel joy, you are feeling as if you own the world, and you feel that everything has suddenly fallen into place.
In fact you are perfectly aligned with your Soul and your Soul’s desires for your human experience.
In a state of happiness you don’t need to figure out why you feel happy. Of course, many times when you feel such happiness, you do know where it came from, what caused it, what triggered it, but in essence, you don’t start to think heavily about why you feel that way.
You just accept it, enjoy it, and usually want to share it with others, to have them feel the same happiness as you are feeling.
In a state of being happy, there is no need to start asking a ton of questions. So, that is a big difference from being in a state of judgement, anger, depression, sadness, fear or any other emotion that you so often feel, isn’t it?
When you feel one of those emotions or feelings, when you are in a state of a lower vibration, you start asking these questions continuously: why does this happen to me? How did I get to feel this? What can I do to get out of it? Why doesn’t it work to get out of it, no matter what I do? Why does the world seem so dark and unpleasant when I feel this way?
All those questions are suddenly surfacing when you are in a ‘lesser’ state of mind than feeling happy. And remember, we have no judgment about that, no emotional state is better or worse than another.
Emotional states of being
We would love for you to become aware and start seeing the similarities as well as the differences between the state of happiness and the other mentioned emotional states.
The similarities are simple: they are emotions. Emotions and feelings are triggered by thoughts about events, situations, people and things that happen around you. And you give those thoughts meaning! You label them as good or bad.
And that’s when the emotions kick in. After you label a thought, give it a meaning, you start thinking that thought, and similar thoughts in the same vibration, over and over.
This is a process that you became a pro in when it comes to things that you perceive as ‘negative’, and it entangles and traps you in the thoughts and the feelings!
How is happiness different?
The differences are obvious: when you’re happy, you don’t ask the hows and whys, there’s no need to label, you just enjoy the feeling.
You tend to not give it more meaning than that you’re so happy that you’re there in that very moment.
So, that’s another thing to keep in mind: happiness is a state of being where you are perfectly aligned with your Soul, and you are in the moment!
Whereas with the other states of mind, you tend to dive into thoughts of the past or the future, but definitely not in the now moment. And vibrationally you’re steering away from your Soul and your power in those states!
Get back in alignment with your Soul
The answer to getting out of the, what you perceive as, ‘negative’ emotions and states of mind, is to step out of your head, into your heart, and stop the thoughts.
Come back to the now-moment, and stop thinking the whys and hows, and accept that your feelings are energy waves.
They come, and they go, but especially the lower vibrational ones will remain a lot longer if you keep thinking about them!
That is another difference with happiness: the less you think and analyze, the longer the happy feeling stays with you.
Practice just being, living in the now-moment, without analyzing so much, and you’ll see that you will feel happiness more often, for longer periods of time.
