Welcome, welcome, dear human, on this beautiful new day. We are pleased and delighted to speak with you again and we’d like to speak with you about holiness, things that are holy, and what that means to you.
Image of holy things and beings
When you think of being holy, what image comes to your mind? Do you see a halo above your head? Do you think of angels singing, or do you imagine people with large wings, wearing long white robes?
Holy and holiness has a sound to it, which makes you think of things out of this world, almost unhuman.
Or on the other hand it makes you think of priests, religious leaders, like the pope, the Dalai Lama, or other religious figures that have been declared holy.
Or maybe you think of holy books, or holy places or buildings.
You give meaning to holiness
So, what does it mean to you when you think of the word holy? Because, that is essentially the meaning of the word.
Not so much the meaning that is given by a dictionary, but the meaning it has to you personally. What do you consider holy?
Do you look at nature, plants, trees, flowers and animals, as something sacred and holy? Do you look at your own body as something holy, valuable, sacred?
These are questions we feel are important for you to consider and spent time with. To find the answers that are only for you.
Nobody else can answer these questions for you, you have to come up with answers yourself.
And we assure you, there are no right or wrong answers. It’s not a quiz that lets you win something, or where you can lose anything by giving the wrong answers.
Again, there is no right or wrong answer here, just your answers.
How do you feel about what is yours?
What we try to make clear here, is that holiness and sacredness is something that depends heavily on how you feel about certain things.
Your perspective, your perception, determines whether or not something is holy.
So when you look at the things in your life, when you are in your house and you look at how your house is kept, maintained, how clean or tidy it is, or not, whatever the situation may be, do you think of it as your holy place?
Is your home sacred to you? Or do you feel embarrassed when you think of people coming into your house to visit you?
When it’s your holy space, your sacred place to reside and to live, it should also feel that way whenever whoever enters it, wouldn’t you agree?
So, however holiness or sacredness feels to you, remember that once you’ve decided what holy means to you, you will want to live up to the expectation you put onto that meaning.
When you feel your car, your house, or whatever it may be, is holy to you, is sacred to you, you will treat it with the utmost respect.
Is your body holy to you?
Now, take a look, a real close look, at your physical, human body. Do you consider that holy?
Is your body your sacred place, the physical embodiment of holiness, the temple for your soul? Or do you neglect your body’s needs?
There is no judgement here, whatever your view on your body might be, we just share these thoughts with you to remind you that there are different ways to look at the world, your life, your possessions and your body.
We always tell you that you are God, that you are Source, that we are you and you are us. Doesn’t that deserve at least a little bit of being considered holy?
We encourage you to see yourself as sacred, and even maybe regal, royal, so that you will feel and know that you are special, that you are loved.
You are holy, you are celebrated and you deserve it all.
We love you dearly, and we wanted to offer these thoughts to you on this day. Let it sink in, and do with it what you will.
You are adored, you are loved, beyond words, beyond measure.
We are The Wisdom, and with that, we are complete.
